History

The origins of Bertola Group date back to 1929, when Michele Bertola started a business in Turin with a small nickel plating activity. After the continuous bombing over the city, he decided to start a small business in Marene as well and in 1946 a new company called “Officina Galvanica Bertola“ was created by the brothers Michele, Antonio e Giuseppe. It was specialized in galvanic treatments, grinding and polishing on metals. The company gave job to almost 50 employees in the first 50s, to grow until 107 workers, before reaching a progressive automation of the plant.

Bertola S.r.l. came out after consecutive transformations e changes and it became leader in the field of third party galvanic treatments. Its social structure is now made up of the descendants of Antonio Bertola, currently in the third generation in the company.

In 2017 some members of Bertola S.r.l. founded a new company, called High Technology Italia S.r.l., with the aim to propose technical painting, metallization and PVD treatments, according to an ecological process, as an alternative to galvanic treatment. The proposal of new and innovative treatments on plastic and metal allows a rapid market development; in 2020 H.T. is subjected to control and coordination by Bertola S.r.l.

IN 2021, THE BERTOLA GROUP, CONSISTING OF BERTOLA1946 AND H.T. ITALIA, WAS FOUNDED IN ORDER TO WITNESS THE SYNERGY BETWEEN THE TWO COMPANIES. ITS STRENGTH IS TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF AESTHETIC TREATMENTS ON DIFFERENT TYPES OF MATERIALS.
